About the festival

Twelve stages. One county. A love letter to Pinellas theatre.

Pinellas County Theatre Week is produced by Tampa Bay Arts Passport — a member-supported arts journalism and advocacy organization committed to growing the audience for local theatre.

Why we built it

A festival is journalism you can walk into.

Tampa Bay Arts Passport is part news organization, part marketing agency, part ticket concierge. We cover our local arts scene every day — and Theatre Week is what happens when that coverage steps off the page and into the seats.

Every buy-one-get-one ticket is an invitation: bring the friend who says they'd go to more theatre. Every venue on the list is a story we've been telling all year. This is our mission — casual reader to full arts advocate — packed into two weeks.

Avery is the founder of Tampa Bay Arts Passport and the producer of Pinellas County Theatre Week. Their journalism covers theatre, music, visual art, and the people who make the Tampa Bay arts scene the most exciting in the Southeast.

Sponsorship inquiries, partnership questions, press requests, or "hey, can we bring this to our county?" — Avery reads every message.

Curtain up, Pinellas.
